1. Plan your supplies Ideally, you should try to keep the amount of supplies you need at a
minimum. Folding chairs, a small barbecue grill, coals, a radio or portable TV, and a large coolers
are essentials. Check off the List as you plan your tailgate. Calculating Supplies (For more than 20

2. Food: Food, next to the event, is the reason many people tailgate. Some do cold sandwiches, a
lot more grill, some prefer the…umm…purely liquid diet "Not good". Whatever your preference we

3. Beverage: Have what you enjoy. Most prefer beer and wine, you can be creative, with Mimosas
and Bloody Marys in the morning, and Bourbon or Vodka to cap the evening. If you prefer the non-
alcoholic beverage pick your favorite fruit & soft drinks.
Cooking Keep things quick, easy and social. “Quick” means finding foods that can be cooked in less than 1 hour or
prepared ahead of time and simply warmed-up, if necessary. When cooking at the game make things “easy” and condense
your supplies, cooking utensils and Condiments: buns, cheese, onions, mushrooms, barbecue sauce, salt, pepper, hot
stuff, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, cheese, pickles, onions, miscellaneous toppings, etc.
